Minister Joins our Named Sponsorship Summit
Minister Joins Over 60 Organisations at the Named Sponsorship Summit
This spring, we gathered in Westminster with Minister Alex Norris, the Home Office, and over 60 organisations to launch Named Community Sponsorship.
The Named Sponsorship Summit brought together leaders from government and civil society to celebrate the launch of the new scheme and explore its potential to expand safe routes for refugees to the UK.
Speakers included then Immigration Minister Alex Norris and Paul Morrison, Director General for Immigration and Citizenship Services at the Home Office, alongside representatives from a wide range of organisations including Brentford FC, Micro Rainbow, Scottish Refugee Council, Welcome Churches, and Open Doors.
More than 120 participants from over 60 organisations attended the summit, demonstrating the breadth of interest, enthusiasm, and commitment to making the scheme a success across the UK.
